SOS Bunbury is a community action group set up by concerned Bunbury people wanting to protect our beautiful city and its waterways.
We are not anti development but we want any development to be done sympathetically to preserve and enhance Bunbury.
Well done everyone who supports us!!!!
Submissions have now closed for the amendments stated below. The Bunbury City Council decided not to agree to the amendments to the Koombana South site, but they did agree to the amendment for Koombana North and Marlston North. It is now up to the government to listen to this and make the correct decision....
"The WAPC intends to amend the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme (GBRS) for land in the local government of Bunbury and is seeking public comment closing 17 May 2010. Currently public submissions are being sought on the following amendments:
- Submission form 00010/41 - Marlston North
- Submission form 00011/41 - Koombana North
- Submission form 00012/41 - Koombana South
Those wishing to view the documents can do so at the City of Bunbury where submission forms for comment on any of the three amendment reports can also be obtained. There is a model in the foyer of the Administration Building, located at 2-4 Stephen Street. The model will be on display for the advertising period and plans."
Alternately, the documents can be viewed and submission forms downloaded electronically at the WAPC website. Click here to transfer
